Industrial Engineering Advisory Board

 

Charter
The goal of the Industrial Engineering Advisory Board (IEAB) is to support the mission of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Wayne State University by:

1. Promoting insight and guidance to insure that the evolution of the curriculum and continuous improvement to the Department’s programs meet the educational needs of future graduates.
2. Assisting in the Department’s program for the development of strategic plans and attaining its goals.
3. Providing meaningful feedback for the Department’s program regarding academic and research goals.
    

Mission Statement
To assist the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department and faculty with technical expertise and industry experience to ensure that a quality education that blends theory with current industrial practices is provided to students, which enable them, as graduates, to embark on and pursue a broad spectrum of professional careers in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

 

Vision Statement
Dedicated academic excellence coupled with a close professional relationship with leaders from industry will insure timely curriculum evolution and continuous improvement in the content of departmental programs to meet the educational needs of future graduates.
